The Urban School of San Francisco seeks to ignite a passion for learning. Urban's extraordinary teachers challenge students in grades 9-12 with an acclaimed academic program that combines a college-preparatory curriculum in math, science, arts and humanities with a comprehensive service learning and competitive athletics program and a rich selection of co-curricular activities. But the most enduring aspect of an Urban education is that students learn to take responsibility for their education and become active citizens in their own communities.
