Gateway High School is a college-preparatory charter school committed to academic excellence through personalized, student-centered learning. Gateway combines a rigorous academic program with an approach where the individual talents and strengths of its students are identified and supported.

Gateway features small classes - average of 20 satisfy the UC "ag" requirements, and we offer Advanced Placement courses in all subject areas. Gateway has its own application process. An application is available on line at www.gatewayhigh.org.

SFUSD New School Assignment Plan Decided

After years of debate, lawsuits and numerous community meetings, the San Francisco Unified School District voted unanimously on a new school assignment system Tuesday night. This so-called hybrid plan is a compromise between the wishes of parents who want to attend neighborhood schools and legal demands to maintain diversity.
