Established in 2009, The Chinese Immersion School at De Avila is the 5th of San Francisco's Chinese Immersion Programs. By providing a rigorous Chinese and English academic program in a fun and supportive environment, CIS gives children the confidence, scholastic preparation, and cognitive development they need to succeed in the 21st century. School Address Fraud

Much has been written about the upcoming changes to the SF school assignment system... and one of the new aspects is supposed to be better verification that the address you provide for your student is actually the address where the student lives. SFUSD New School Assignment Plan Decided

After years of debate, lawsuits and numerous community meetings, the San Francisco Unified School District voted unanimously on a new school assignment system Tuesday night. This so-called hybrid plan is a compromise between the wishes of parents who want to attend neighborhood schools and legal demands to maintain diversity.
