Aptos Middle School is located in the Ingleside District. Our school offers a diverse and comprehensive academic program that includes: General Education classes; Intensive English classes for English Language Learners; Special Education programs, and honors classes which serve the needs of gifted and other high ability students. At Aptos we in each classroom allow students to integrate computer technology into every discipline. Extra-curricular activities include the BETA Club, La Raza, Art, Asian Culture Club, choir, TRIAD, photography, drama and the YMCA Teen Center. We believe ethnic diversity is a strength, and we promote cultural awareness. Our PTSA, along with a caring and dedicated staff, provide students and families of Aptos a positive and enriching educational experience.

School Address Fraud

Much has been written about the upcoming changes to the SF school assignment system... and one of the new aspects is supposed to be better verification that the address you provide for your student is actually the address where the student lives. SFUSD New School Assignment Plan Decided

After years of debate, lawsuits and numerous community meetings, the San Francisco Unified School District voted unanimously on a new school assignment system Tuesday night. This so-called hybrid plan is a compromise between the wishes of parents who want to attend neighborhood schools and legal demands to maintain diversity.
