Steven Kark’s expertise will assure a professional closing whether the real estate transaction is a single family home, condominium, TIC or investment property.

Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Steve was an investment banker specializing in the underwriting of tax-exempt bonds for governmental entities. His work in San Francisco included the financing of the San Francisco Yacht Harbor and early infrastructure work in SOMA, paving the way for the development now evident in the Mission Bay area. He served on the National Committee of Public Finance of the Securities Industry Association, as administrative director of various real estate improvement districts and also as an appointed member to a city business district.

Steve enjoys living in the City, the various art venues and of course, his dog Jazz, -- the funniest boxer around!

"I have worked with a handful of Real Estate agents over the years, and have found none as experienced or professional as Steven Kark. While working with Steve, there was never any pressure to make an offer, he will work with you as long as it takes to find you your perfect home, and will make sure you don't place an offer you will later regret. Over the years we looked at many different types of properties from multi-units, to single family homes, to condos and TIC's and he was always extremely knowledgable of each type or property and took the time to explain in detail any issues one could face. He kept me constantly informed of new properties and changing market conditions and quickly replied to any and all inquiries. During the buying process all the people he referred me to were top notch and made sure everything went smoothly, putting pressure on the appropriate parties when necessary to make sure things got done. I'm now enjoying my new home in a great neighborhood, and look forward to working with Steven in the future."

"We want to thank you again for finding this wonderful condominium for us here in the Liberty Hill Historic District, just a block away from Dolores Park. We love our new neighborhood and especially enjoy our beautiful, panoramic view! Thanks also to your co-worker Lee Patterson. It was a pleasure working with both of you! You screened properties exactly to our specifications, so everything you showed us fit closely to just what we were looking for. You were always patient and attentive; but we never felt pressured. There’s always a little anxiety when making such an important purchase, but you made the experience exciting and enjoyable for us. Thanks again."
