Paul began his real estate career in 1986 after he purchased his first home in the Sunnyside district of San Francisco. He found that even after he had closed escrow on his new home he kept going to open houses and realized that he was hooked on real estate.
Within a year of starting Paul became one of the top producers at BJ Droubi, and has remained a top producer throughout his career. Paul has worked for Droubi Real Estate, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, and now for Zephyr Real Estate. Paul attributes his success to loving both the properties he sells, and San Francisco itself. He firmly believes he provides a service to his clients, helping them through what can be a difficult and stressful process with integrity and a little grace. A good listener and problem solver, Paul excels at negotiating the many obstacles that arise in a real estate transaction with solutions that are both fair and often creative.
A Bay Area native, Paul grew up in San Rafael, and has lived in the Bay Area since 1980. Paul has renovated and sold numerous properties during his career, gone through a condominium conversion on a two-unit building, and is definitely a FULL TIME real estate agent. Paul went to St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, worked for Bechtel Power Corporation as an accountant, and was the Controller for a group of personnel agencies. Paul definitely prefers real estate to his prior endeavors. In his free time, Paul has discovered endurance athletics - marathons, double century rides, and one triathlon (Wildflower) so far. Paul qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2008. Please feel free to contact me to see if we might be a good fit for your real estate needs.
