Posted On: Monday, September 12, 2011 - 10:26am

While Bernal Heights is one of the most desired neighborhoods to purchase a single family home, it’s not known for its abundance of condo sales.

Over the past four years (2007-2010), Bernal has averaged just over 23 condominium sales per year, 2009 being the highest annual total at 26.

Ugly Powerlines, Will We Ever Put Them Underground?

Posted On: Monday, June 20, 2011 - 11:26am

Every time I’m in a home that would typically have a beautiful view if it weren’t for a mess of electrical wires and poles, I think, why the heck can’t we put those ugly cables under the ground? How come it is 2011 and we still have a mess of cables running over our head, creating potential hazards during storms, and clogging up what could otherwise be a serene street lined with street lamps and trees.

"Marion Broder helped me purchase a first home as a newcomer to San Francisco about 7 years ago and made the whole process go very smoothly. Recently she has served as our agent again in selling the property in the city, and also advised us on a purchase further afield. Marion is exceedingly knowledgeable about the market in San Francisco, reliable and trustworthy, and has been a true partner to us. We highly recommend her."

"Marion and Eamonn are a fantastic real estate duo! Their combined years of experience and deep familiarity with the City, the inventory, the movement of the market, and real estate rules and regulations made buying a home in a turbulent market a pleasure. What could have otherwise been a harrowing experience turned out to be a quick, clean, professional close and made me a very happy buyer. I recommend then very highly and thank them for a job well done."

"There are seasoned professionals and good communicators and people genuinely dedicated to their clients, but you rarely find them all in one person, or in this case, all in two people: Marion Broder and Eamonn O'Callaghan. Marion and Eamonn have represented us in two purchases and two sales over a seven year period. In easy markets and challenging markets, they gave us what we really needed: clear, specific, decisive advice and a willingness to explain their reasoning to us. Whatever our stated goal, they met it: in one case a quick sale and in another, making sure our bid succeeded against 5 other offers (it won by a few thousand dollars). Their knowledge is so current, so well informed, that you can bank on it. We have, and we continue to do so."

"Marion and Eamonn were great! They coordinated all the staging, inspections, and repairs to prepare the property for listing, and even oversaw repairs that became necessary after the house was listed. We had a series of buyers who backed out of the deal for various reasons after getting into contract. Marion and Eamonn helped us get over our disappointment and then forged ahead each time with finding new buyers for us. They acted with great professionalism throughout the process. Highly recommended!"
