As a native San Franciscan, Mara feels right at home in this city. Before working in real estate, Mara got her bachelor's degree in architecture and worked in the field of interior design for nearly a decade. Mara’s design experience can be an asset in today’s market for both buyers and sellers. She can help buyers visualize how a particular property may be able to work for them with some small changes. For sellers, Mara is usually able to suggest some touches that can help to increase the sale price and help the seller realize more equity than they expected. Mara learned the real estate ropes by working for a top-producing agent for nearly 3 years. She has worked on over 175 successful transactions since 2001 including single-family homes, Condos, TICs and multi-unit buildings. Mara is equally confident in representing either buyers or sellers in today’s frenzied market. For BUYERS, Mara will meet for an educational seminar personalized for each buyer’s needs. She will educate buyers on all the facets of purchasing a home including loan programs, list price vs. sale price, and the pros and cons of TICs vs. condos. She will also show how to get an offer accepted without paying too much for the property. For SELLERS, Mara will meet with you to find out how much your property is worth. She will figure out which marketing strategies will get you the most money for your particular property. Mara will also assist you in every detail of selling your home -- from preparing your property for the market to arranging for a mover, plus everything in between.
