What makes me different from a “traditional agent” –most agents do business as if they will never see or hear from you again. Just like a cab driver, they ask “Where ya headed?” Sometimes they’ll get you to your destination safely. And sometimes… well, let’s just say they like to get you there as fast as possible so they can get on to their next fare. My way of doing business is to think of our relationship as a long-term association, not just a "deal" like the many "cab drivers" out there.

I will guide you before and during the process and be there for you long after the transaction is over. I aim to be your real estate consultant…for life! A high percentage of my business comes to me by referral from friends, past clients, friends of past clients. Because they have dealt with me in the past, and have seen first-hand the high level of service and commitment I provide to my clients, there is a very high level of trust. That means: trust in my integrity, in my level of skill and market knowledge to do the best job possible, and in my commitment to put the needs and requirements of my clients first.

Let the words used by some of my clients tell you:

“… professional, remarkable in negotiating, knowledgeable about the market, continues to deliver service well after the close, goes the extra mile, takes the extra time, patient, easygoing, wonderful to work with, dedicated, approachable, number one goal is customer satisfaction, listens closely to concerns and desires, followed through on every detail, comforting throughout the process, highest quality personal service, has top-notch resources, Diane deals with everyone involved in the sale and subsequent purchase of a home with honesty and respect, we recommend Diane without a shred of reservation”

My Commitment To You
- I will intelligently and persistently ask you profound, insightful questions so I can advise and consult with you on how to make your dreams come true. I will courageously and powerfully negotiate for you, treating your money as if it were mine. I will oversee the details in the transaction which includes hundreds of issues that must be dealt with in a timely and effective way.

If you're remodeling your home, or doing any construction that requires a permit from the San Francisco Building Department (just about everything except paint and wallpaper requires a permit), then you will be issued what is called a 'Job Card' (I capitalize it to emphasize its importance).

Who Sees the Appraisal Report?

Tags: appraisal, contract, home value | Topics: Buyers and Sellers

One of my buyers asked a question recently: "If we get the condo appraised and the value of the condo is higher than what we agree to, can the seller pull out and ask for a higher price? Or does it only work in our favor?"

San Francisco Data at Your Fingertips

Posted On: Tuesday, March 13, 2012 - 7:27am
Tags: crime statistics, neighborhood maps, San Francisco data | Topics: Community Information

San Francisco has placed its publicly available data on a website, all in one place, to make it easy to search for just about anything. Like the all-in-one 311 call center that eliminated the need to keep a list of the different city departments, this website allows you to search for crime statistics on a map, look at the neighborhood boundaries, find film locations, and much more.

I must pass this building hundreds of times a year because it's a few blocks from my house. Walking by it the other day, I was able to appreciate just what a wonderful building it is.

Pockets of Movement in the San Francisco Housing Market, Despite Lessening Inventory

The nice spring-like weather we have been experiencing has had some positive effects on the home buying public, as it has brought more buyers into the market.

"Diane was exceptional in our process-so knowledgeable, professional, detail-oriented, a great negotiator and super nice to boot! Definitely exceeded my expectations!"
--Pamela & Kris H

Accolade

"Diane is an exceptional realtor who is highly effective and service-oriented. Through her expert guidance, we were able to purchase our dream house in the midst of a competitive bidding situation, and sell our previous home for more than 20% over the asking price."
--Chris and Nancy D

Accolade

"Diane is very thorough and professional and utilizes her profound experience to put your priorities first at all times. I would have no hesitation in recommending Diane to my friends or relatives."
--Ryan L, MD

"In a world full of people willing to do almost anything for a buck, Diane deals with everyone involved in the sale and subsequent purchase of a home with honesty and respect. We recommend Diane without a shred of reservation."
--Christine A & William S

Accolade

"Diane’s first priority was not just to make a sale, but to make me happy as a customer, and to build a long term relationship. She did not only give me an advice, but actually worked hard to follow through on every detail. I am currently planning a new home purchase. Guess who I am hiring."
--Yasser D

Accolade

"More than any realtor we had worked with previously, Diane provided us with the highest quality personal service in both the purchase and sale of our property. Our interaction with Diane didn't stop at the transactions' closings. Because we trust Diane to deliver this same service to others, we have recommended her to many friends."
--Liz H & Ned Y

Accolade

"I highly recommend Diane for her professional skills and her personal touch – it’s a combination that’s hard to beat!"
--Günter W

Accolade

"Diane came to me upon the recommendation of two friends who worked with her and liked her style and results. Diane sold my condo in the same manner and went the “extra mile” for me. I lived 3000 miles away from the condo and it was tenant occupied – Diane worked through all of these obstacles and many more with knowledge, humor and results. Her knowledge of the “business” and communication skills helped to sell my condo quickly and at my asking price. I’d definitely work with her again."
--Ron T

Accolade

"My entire experience was so stress-free, all because of Diane. Everything was handled so promptly, efficiently, professionally and accurately that I felt I had very little to do besides sign the papers. She kept me fully informed and was attentive and accessible, which added to my feelings of trust in her work. I have nothing but praise for Diane and cannot express my gratitude for all she's done for me and the way in which she's done it. Thanks to her, my purchase felt easy and seamless and I therefore had the opportunity to ensure that I was making the right decision."
--Laura E
