Meet Anna Spathis
Simultaneously tenacious and down-to-Earth, Anna Spathis has risen to the top of the real estate industry as a Luxury Home Specialist, multiple-unit property expert, and design and development consultant. "we met anna during an open house for one of her listings in the inner mission. we'd been looking at homes for a while but decided to get serious as the housing market softened and interest rates dropped. (though we both work in decent paying jobs, we'd never been comfortable with the gimmicky financing we saw or that some realtors would mention as our way "into the market"). we were honestly suspicious of realtors in general. anna is different. we were quickly impressed with her smarts, her fund of knowledge, and her sense of humor. two days later we were clients. anna got us....and she got us quickly. she knew what kind of home we wanted (a fixer with rental and condo conversion potential) and helped us expand our neighborhood search to include areas we hadn't really explored (including where we eventually bought in noe valley adjacent to the mission, bernal heights, and glen park. our search lasted 6 or 7 months but was never stressful even after we lost two bidding situations. she never showed us a home that didn't make sense and adjusted to both our rational and emotive responses effortlessly. when we found our house on a monday and had to have our bid in by tuesday evening, she was instrumental in helping us through the bidding strategy...and after we got the home she was shrewdly able to get us an additional 5% reduction at contingency points before closing. anna even found us a mortgage when our promised preapproval didn't want to finance our chosen home. anna, and her partner dennis, then helped us find our contractor and taught us a lot about the permit process. they offered really excellent advice on what remodeling made investment sense and have been happy to take our calls 9 months after the closing.They are truly "full service" realtors who work for their client's interest and will tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear.
