Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Phillip got his degree from LSU in Financial Management. This provided the education requirements needed to start in real estate finance right out of college when he moved to the Bay Area. He prides himself on adapting to the ever changing world of residential lending and treats his clients’ goals of homeownership as if they were his own.
Phillip lives and owns a 2-unit TIC in Bernal Heights that he is in the process of converting to condos. This has given him firsthand knowledge of the steps involved in obtaining TIC financing as well as going through the conversion process with the city.
Phillip comes to the table understanding that every client’s hopes, dreams, and knowledge of the mortgage world is different. He is eager to provide in depth analysis to every client’s situation to better understand any and all potential obstacles ahead of time. This is essential to develop a strategy for the best way to address any concerns in order to not jeopardize a transaction and ensure a timely closing.
Phillip works hard to know which loan products work best for the client’s goals and which lender is the right fit for every scenario. He has a keen understanding of FHA loans and makes sure all clients are aware of the pros and cons of each option for financing so they are confident with their decision.
Phillip enjoys working with seasoned investors as well as first time buyers in need of insight about the home buying process in the current environment. He wants to know your hopes, dreams, and your fears so he can become one of your trusted advisors throughout the process.
