One of the lesser-known neighborhoods in the west part of San Francisco
is Lakeside. Bordered by Sloat on the north, Junipero Serra on the east,
19th Avenue on the west/south, Lakeside is a slice of a 'hood that's
adjacent to San Francisco State University, Stonestown Galleria, Stern
Grove, and Ingleside/Balboa Terraces.

11 single family homes sold in Lakeside in 2009; there were no Condo/TIC/Loft/Coop sales last year. We witnessed a shift in the single family home median sales price from $995,500 to $992,000, which translates to a 0.35% decrease over the prior year. The time necessary to sell a property is also critical. For 2009, the average number of days on market was 40 for single family homes. In 2008, it was taking an average of 41 days for single
