I was running home on Monday morning after dropping my car off for servicing in SoMa. My route home brought me through the Mission, and I suddenly found myself reflecting on how much things have changed there since I first moved to San Francisco in the late '90s.

I must pass this building hundreds of times a year because it's a few blocks from my house. Walking by it the other day, I was able to appreciate just what a wonderful building it is.

I love old movie theaters so was pleased to read that the Art Deco theater on Mission street will be restored and turned into a 5 screen theater with a restaurant and bar.
