San Francisco Average Cost per Square Foot

This chart in the San Francisco Examiner shows the average cost per square foot for homes in San Francisco below $750,000 and homes above $750,000. Homes that sold below $750k saw the average dollar per square foot go down 7% since the second quarter of 2010. During that same time, homes above $750,000 went up 9% during the same time period. "...the large majority of distress home sales occur below $750k, while higher priced homes have been relatively unaffected by foreclosure and short sales...".
