Kindergarten Classes Start at Italian International School in Dogpatch

La Piccola Scuola Italiana, aka, Italian International School, located at 20th and Tennessee Streets, will launch it's first kindergarten class this fall, with a maximum of 15 students.  The school will offer Italian language immersion; is Reggio Emilia inspired, following a child-oriented team, and inquiry-based approach to learning; with a nine to one student/teacher ratio.  Hot lunch and snacks, often organic, will be prepared daily by two onsite Italian chefs.  Annual tuition is $16,500, not cheap, but less than most of San Francisco's other independent schools.
