Getting a Loan - Step 7: Closing

Yes! Your loan for your new home has been approved, the loan documents have been drawn and sent to the title company for you to sign. Once you've signed all the documents, the next and final step is the closing.

  • Closing - Once all parties have signed the loan documents, they are returned to the lender, and the package is reviewed.  If all the forms have been properly executed, the lender sends the loan funds by wire transfer.  You transfer the remainder of your down payment, the title is recorded, and the property officially transfers from the seller to you.
