Getting a Loan - Step 3: Awaiting the Documentation

Your offer has been accepted for your dream home and your mortgage broker has begun the process of getting loan approval for you. He's ordered the documentation the bank requires.

Now we're Awaiting Documentation - Within one to two weeks, he will begin to receive the supporting documentation from your employer, landlord and banks.  As it comes in, the documentation is checked for any irregularities, and any additional items needed are requested.
