In San Francisco there is obviously very limited available space. Sometimes apartment dwellers and condo owners just don't have a patch of earth to call their own. The answer for those who wish to nurture something growing out of the dirt, is a community garden. According to the San Francisco Garden Resource Organization, there are 51 community gardens in San Francisco.
