Solar power is really taking off in California and we just hit a major milestone, as reported by, Environment California, a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy organization.

Prices of solar panels are dropping rapidly. Lower pricing combined with rebate programs available to homeowners is transforming this industry. We have now reached 1 gigawatt of solar power. Only 5 other countries have reached this level!
